El autor de esta MAGNÍFICA NOVELA es FAN de ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA, y ha querido dejar constancia de ello en ésta obra editada en noviembre de 2008 por la Editorial «Jirones de Azul», y que actualmente va por su segunda edición.
No aparece ELO en una ocasión dentro de ésta. Aparece en cinco momentos dentro de la INTERESANTE TRAMA de este libro. Curioso sin duda.

FELICIDADES FERNANDO. Un muy buen libro, que no sólo te introduce en Sevilla, sino que además te hace conocer algunos aspectos de la Semana Santa sevillana y de sus cofradías e iglesias.
La sinopsis de «EL HOMBRE QUE ESCULPIÓ A DIOS»:
A principios del siglo XVII, Juan de Mesa esculpe la que será su obra culmen, ante la atenta mirada de su maestro, Martínez Montañés, atónito ante un discípulo que está a punto de aventajarle.
En la actualidad, Laura Moreno, licenciada en Bellas Artes y profesora del Instituto Andaluz de Patrimonio Histórico (IAPH), es requerida para investigar la posible falsificación de una de las más importantes imágenes que procesionan en la Semana Santa sevillana, un Crucificado Barroco de gran valor.
Una conspiración en torno al autor de la talla original, un secreto y un juramento salvaguardado por cuatro siglos, pondrán en peligro la vida de Laura al aceptar el encargo de averiguar qué está pasando con las imágenes.

EL AUTOR
FERNANDO CARRASCO, Sevilla -1964-, es periodista de profesión y carrera desde hace más de 25 años.
Su paso por la radio y revistas especializadas taurinas le llevaron a formar parte en 1990 de la Redacción del periiódico ABC de Sevilla, donde continúa en la actualidad. Compagina la información taurina con la dedicada a las Hermandades y Cofradías de Sevilla (campos en los que está considerado como uno de los más reconocidos especialistas).
Ha colaborado en multitud de boletines de Hermandades, además de participar en numerosas actividades divulgativas relacionadas.
En la Cuaresma de 2008 pronunció la «Exaltación de la Saeta y Otras Músicas de la Pasión», que se celebró en la Catedral de Sevilla.
En 2007 se estrena como novelista con el triller «El último imán de Ishbiliya» (Editorial Jirones de Azul).

Currently, Laura Moreno, a graduate in Fine Arts and a professor at the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage (IAPH), is required to investigate the possible falsification of one of the most important images that are processed during Holy Week in Seville, a Baroque Crucified of great worth.
A conspiracy around the author of the original carving, a secret and an oath safeguarded for four centuries, will put Laura's life in danger when she accepts the task of finding out what is happening with the images.

THE AUTHOR
FERNANDO CARRASCO, Seville -1964-, has been a journalist by profession and career for more than 25 years.
His time on the radio and specialized bullfighting magazines led him to join the editorial staff of the ABC newspaper in Seville in 1990, where he continues today. He combines bullfighting information with that dedicated to the Brotherhoods and Brotherhoods of Seville (fields in which he is considered one of the most recognized specialists).
He has collaborated in many Brotherhood newsletters, in addition to participating in numerous related informative activities.
In Lent 2008 he delivered the "Exaltation of the Saeta and Other Music of the Passion", which was celebrated in the Cathedral of Seville.
In 2007 he debuted as a novelist with the thriller "The Last Magnet of Ishbiliya" (Editorial Jirones de Azul).
