The Nightriders pre The Idle Race – June 1966

Una imagen de mediados del año 1966, en la que se puede ver a un joven JEFF LYNNE junto a sus compañeros de NIGHTRIDERS antes de un festival musical en su ciudad. En esos momentos, ni el mismo JEFF podía imaginar hasta dónde llegaría su ingeniosa capacidad musical en un futuro no tan lejano…

El beat volvió a tener un lugar en el Festival de Tulipanes de Birmingham, que atrajo a un público récord al parque de Cannon Hill, en Edgbaston. Aquí están dos de los grupos presentados -The Nightriders (en la imagen) y The Con-Chords- relajándose en el parque antes de montar su equipo.

The beat once again had a place at the Birmingham Tulip Festival, which drew record crowds to Edgbaston's Cannon Hill Park. Here are two of the groups featured - The Nightriders (pictured) and The Con-Chords - relaxing in the park before setting up their gear.
