En Radio 3, el pasado día 23 de diciembre de 2021 y en el programa «Como lo oyes» pudo escucharse, entre otros, «LAST TRAIN TO LONDON» de ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA.
George Martin aunó con sus producciones para The Beatles la conjunción de notas y arreglos clásicos y la influencia de la gran era de las orquestas en Estados Unidos desde la explosión de Duke Ellington, por su formación a la innovadora música pop contemporánea de los cuatro de Liverpool. La onda del Sonido de Filadelfia aportó orquestaciones espectaculares para grandes canciones del soul. The Beach Boys (Brian Wilson), Bowie, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Barry White, los Stones, Mancini, Bacharach, el productor Rafael Trabuchelli en España, ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA, The Verve, The Divine Comedy, Coque Malla, Tori Amos o en su nuevo disco, Paul Weller, siguen la estila sinfónica, bajo la luz de Bach, Beethoven, Debussy… Es el segundo capítulo de la serie para este año nuevo.
