Neil Lockwood, nos dejó
Neil Lockwood, componente de ELO Part II falleció el pasado día 15 de marzo de 2025 tras su batalla contra el cáncer que padecía. Los fans de ALAN PARSONS PROJECT lo recordarán también en muchas de sus apariciones en directo junto a él.
El mismo ALAN PARSONS ha dejado un comentario sobre Neil: «Sorprendido y terriblemente triste al escuchar que mi buen amigo Neil Lockwood falleció el pasádo sábado tras una breve enfermedad inesperada. Neil fue nuestro cantante principal destacado en THE ALAN PARSONS LIVE PROJECT desde 1996 hasta que me fui de Reino Unido para vivir en Estados Unidos en 2000. Además de cantar con mi banda británica, también apareció en dos de los álbumes de ALAN PARSONS «ON AIR» y «THE TIME MACHINE». Tenía un talento único como vocalista y era increíblemente versátil.»
Neil lanzó algún álbum solista y recientemente estuvo recorriendo el mundo actuando en cruceros.
Con ELO Part II fue compañero de BEV BEVAN, LOUIS CLARK, Eric Troyer, Pete Haycock, MIK KAMINSKI, KELLY GROUCUTT, y HUGH McDOWELL, participando en el famoso concierto con la Orquesta Sinfónica de Moscú.
Sus datos junto a ELO Part II fue el siguiente: Neil Lockwood – guitar, keyboards (1991, 1992–1993), bass (1991), vocals (1989–1993).

Neil Lockwood, a member of ELO Part II, passed away on March 15, 2025, after battling cancer. Fans of the Alan Parsons Project will also remember him for his many live performances alongside Alan Parsons.
Alan Parsons himself shared a heartfelt comment about Neil:
"Shocked and terribly saddened to hear that my good friend Neil Lockwood passed away last Saturday after a brief, unexpected illness. Neil was our standout lead vocalist in The Alan Parsons Live Project from 1996 until I moved from the UK to the USA in 2000. In addition to singing with my British band, he also appeared on two of the Alan Parsons albums, 'On Air' and 'The Time Machine'. He had a unique talent as a vocalist and was incredibly versatile."
Neil released some solo albums and had recently been touring the world, performing on cruise ships.
With ELO Part II, he shared the stage with Bev Bevan, Louis Clark, Eric Troyer, Pete Haycock, Mik Kaminski, Kelly Groucutt, and Hugh McDowell, participating in the famous concert with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra.
His contributions to ELO Part II were as follows: Neil Lockwood – guitar, keyboards (1991, 1992–1993), bass (1991), vocals (1989–1993).
Neil Lockwood will be remembered as a talented and versatile musician who left a lasting impact on the music world. Rest in peace.

no es correcto ya que Neil Lockwood nunca coincidio en ELO Part two con Phil Bates y ni mucho menos con Parthenon Huxley..
en cualquier caso, eso es lo de menos..
lo triste es que cada vez van quedando menos musicos vivos de la ELO y relativos..
