Merecido homenaje a ROY ORBISON

Rodeada de familia, admiradores y amigos, la ESTRELLA de ROY ORBISON en el PASEO DE LA FAMA DE HOLLYWOOD lució con luz propia. JEFF LYNNE también estuvo allí, junto a JOE WALSH, JEFF BECK, CHRIS ISAAK… Una ceremonia que se celebró a las 11:30 h. el 29 de febrero de 2010 frente a la puerta de Capitol Records y muy cerca de las estrellas de John Lennon y George Harrison.

Orbison murió el 1988 de un ataque al corazón a la edad de 52 años mientras era miembro de la superbanda THE TRAVELING WILBURYS. «Es muy bonito ser querido de nuevo, pero yo todavía no puedo creerlo», dijo cuando su carrera, que comenzó en los años ’50 despegó de nuevo en los ’80. Ésta ceremonia es otra muestra más de lo que su música y su voz representó en la historia de la música.
