L’impronta Della Progressive Music

La primera grabación de ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA fue editada en octubre del año 1971, en forma de flexi disc italiano, grabado a una sola cara, el cual promociona artistas de Harvest. ELO fue presentada ahí con el tema «QUEEN OF THE HOURS», así como también THE MOVE con «It Wasn’t My Idea To Dance».

Apenas un mes después, en noviembre del mismo año, se edita otro álbum recopilatorio llamado «The Harvest Bag» con ELO y la misma canción «QUEEN OF THE HOURS», así como «Ella James» de THE MOVE junto con otros artistas de Harvest.

Finalmente ELO decidió lanzar el primer álbum en diciembre de ese año para acortar el tiempo hasta que la banda pudiera salir de gira.

Curiosamente, en el libreto de la edición del 30 Aniversario de NO ANSWER se hace mención a este primer flexi disc italiano.
