Jeff Lynne Song Database – Exposing the Secrets
Desde siempre a JEFF LYNNE le gustó ocultar secretos en su música y en las portadas de sus discos, incluso en su primer álbum con IDLE RACE en 1968. Prácticamente desde entonces, casi todos los proyectos han tenido algún pequeño tesoro escondido.
En 1974 JEFF fue acusado de incluir mensajes satánicos en ELDORADO, algo que negó rotundamente y que respondió poco después a través del tema «FIRE ON HIGH» diciendo, de forma invertida, que no perdiesen el tiempo creyendo semejante tontería.
Esto no impidió que JEFF LYNNE continuase incluyendo curiosidades en sus siguientes trabajos. En 1983 se editó SECRET MESSAGES, que también lo utilizó para dar respuesta a continuas acusaciones similares. Este disco está repleto de curiosidades y secretos por descubrir, algunos de ellos obvios y otros muchos enterrados y difíciles de encontrar.

ROBERT PORTER de JEFF LYNNE SONG DATABASE ha abierto una nueva sección en su web bajo el título: EXPOSING SECRETS! en la que analiza minuciosamente cada uno de los secretos y pequeños tesoros que JEFF LYNNE fue introduciendo en sus canciones y sus discos. Algo que desde ELO ESPAÑA agradecemos y damos a conocer por lo curioso del tema y por el buen trabajo de ROBERT PORTER.

JEFF LYNNE has always liked to hide secrets in his music and album covers, even on his first album with IDLE RACE in 1968. Just about every project since then has had some little hidden treasure.
In 1974 JEFF was accused of including satanic messages in ELDORADO, something he vehemently denied and responded shortly after through the song "FIRE ON HIGH" saying, invertedly, not to waste time believing such nonsense.
This did not prevent JEFF LYNNE from continuing to include curiosities in his subsequent works. In 1983 SECRET MESSAGES was published, which also used it to respond to continuous similar accusations. This album is full of curiosities and secrets to discover, some of them obvious and many others buried and difficult to find.

Something that from ELO ESPAÑA we appreciate and make known for the curiosity of the subject and for the good work of ROBERT PORTER.
