Apenas tres semanas hace que mostramos en nuestra web el curioso montaje de la contraportada del álbum de ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA «FACE THE MUSIC», cuando uno de nuestros amigos nos ha hecho llegar esta portada del single «STRANGE MAGIC», donde también se aprecia la misma disposición, aunque con diferentes posturas por parte de los componentes de la banda, pero también donde se aprecia la ayuda de dos colaboradores, uno a cada lado sujetando el cristal, e incluso los libros donde se apoya el mismo. En esta ocasión, la imagen es a color.
Como es normal en este tipo de tomas, no podía haber sólo una y estimamos que habrá muchas más de donde pudieron elegir cuáles sería aceptadas para su uso comercial.
Agradecemos a nuestro amigo su colaboración y participación en este tema por cuanto nos ha ayudado a ver desde otra perspectiva la misma imagen.

It’s only been three weeks since we showcased on our website the curious composition of the back cover of ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA’s album "FACE THE MUSIC", when one of our friends sent us this cover of the single "STRANGE MAGIC". This version also features the same arrangement, albeit with different poses by the band members, and additionally reveals the assistance of two collaborators, one on each side holding the glass, as well as the books supporting it. On this occasion, the image is in color.
As is common with this type of shoot, there couldn’t have been just one photo, and we estimate that there are many more from which the final selections for commercial use were made.
We thank our friend for their collaboration and contribution to this topic, as it has allowed us to view the same image from a different perspective.
