ELO: A Message From Another Time
Según información hallada en «Horace Wimp’s ELO Fan Forum», durante el anterior Tour del TIME existió esta versión, digamos extendida del tema «DON’T BRING ME DOWN» con introducción extra por parte de BEV BEVAN que arrancó a los aficionados del Róterdam a cantar una especie de himno local de fútbol durante el concierto de ELO de fecha 12 de febrero de 1982. Show especial por cuanto fue la primera vez que la banda subió a un escenario después de su visita a los famosos Estudios Wisseloord y donde soltaron mucho entusiasmo por ello, ya que acabaron de grabar las pistas básicas de cuatro de las canciones que acabarían en el álbum SECRET MESSAGES, incluido su famoso «ROCK ‘N’ ROLL IS KING» o, como todavía por esas fechas se llamaba «MOTOR FACTORY». According to information found on the "Horace Wimp's ELO Fan Forum," during the previous TIME Tour, there existed this version, let's say an extended version of the song "DON'T BRING ME DOWN" with an extra introduction by BEV BEVAN that prompted fans in Rotterdam to sing a sort of local football anthem during ELO's concert on February 12, 1982. It was a special show as it was the first time the band took to the stage after their visit to the famous Wisseloord Studios and where they exuded a lot of enthusiasm for it, as they had just finished recording the basic tracks of four of the songs that would end up on the SECRET MESSAGES album, including their famous "ROCK 'N' ROLL IS KING" or, as it was still called around that time, "MOTOR FACTORY." The audio from that February 12th shows that energy.
