La pasada semana perdimos a MEAT LOAF, un gran músico de la época en la que ELO brilló prácticamente a vez que este artista que nos dejó álbumes tan inconmensurables como BAT OUT OF HELL.
Pues bien, ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA coincidió en cartel con MEAT LOAF, y es MELVYN GALE quien hizo memoria de ello desde su Facebook mostrando este cartel y un breve comentario.
Esta fue la única vez que vi Meatloaf. Estaba sentado al costado del enorme escenario que él llenó absolutamente, frente a una gran audiencia de alrededor de 80.000 personas, ¡que se volvió loca! Deja un gran vacío detrás de él.

Well, ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA coincided on the bill with MEAT LOAF, and it is MELVYN GALE who remembered it from his Facebook showing this billboard and a brief comment.
This was the only time I saw Meatloaf. He was sitting on the side of the huge stage which he absolutely filled, in front of a huge audience of around 80,000 people, who went crazy! It leaves a huge void behind it.
