Ya que veo que continúa la estafa… Convendría dar aviso a FANS de ELO/JEFF de Facebook de la existencia de un «personaje particular» en esta red social que simula o se hace pasar por el mismo JEFF LYNNE en persona, e incluso, en otras ocasiones su mánager, con el fin de recaudar algún dinero extra de aquellos incautos que no sean muy precavidos y puedan caer en su trampa y, lo digo con conocimiento de causa porque he vivido la experiencia, habiendo perdido la oportunidad de conversar largo y tendido con «este» JEFF, de no ser porque lo mandé, quizá demasiado pronto a sembrar patatas, advirtiéndole que daría cuenta de su «sucio negocio» si me enteraba que volvía a las andadas, cosa que así ha sido y que por ello saco a la luz ahora.

Hace aproximadamente unos 90 días que «alguien» contactó privadamente conmigo por Facebook en inglés, y lo hacía porque tenía constancia del trabajo que yo estaba realizando por la banda ELO y por él mismo durante muchos años… Me contó que había sido elegido por ser un gran fan, que estábamos en un espacio privado y que me debía comprometer a no desvelar el enlace del mismo… Yo, incrédulo desde el primer instante le pregunté en más de una ocasión con quién estaba hablando y que necesitaba prueba de ello. El caso es que no hubo tiempo para mucho, ya que, ante mi insistencia a que «sacara la patita por debajo de la puerta para ver que no fuese el lobo», él se descubrió a sí mismo tirando de aquello de «¿Eres FAN VIP mío? ¿Tienes PASE VIP? Si quieres te puedo pasar con mi mánager y él te puede enviar uno por tan sólo 150€ y podrás acceder en mis próximos conciertos a zonas exclusivas y verme y conversar conmigo…»

En ese instante fue cuando le dije todo aquello que no quería oír, o mejor dicho «leer». Seguro estoy de ello. No lo reproduzco porque no lo veo necesario, aunque sí diré que, le prometí que si volvía a saber de su timo, daría cumplida cuenta de lo ocurrido para dar aviso a los FANS. y hoy, que he conocido que, ahora se hace pasar por su manager, doy aviso a navegantes por si os puede servir de algo mi experiencia.

A los pocos minutos de aquello, desaparecieron las pocas fotos de JEFF LYNNE que ilustraban su engañoso PERFIL creado para tal fin del susodicho estafador, así como los seguidores y demás datos. No pasaron apenas dos horas cuando no quedó rastro alguno de ese perfil…

Cuidaros de quien se está haciendo pasar por su manager actualmente y de su forma de proceder, ya que no es fiable ni confiable su intención. Tengo una captura de su último timo que está en estos momentos de actualidad, pero por respeto a los implicados voy a omitirla.

Sinceramente. No imagino al propio JEFF estar tan necesitado de dinero como para ir mendigando entre sus fans la venta de «Pases VIP» para unos hipotéticos conciertos que nunca ya se han de celebrar…

Y… por supuesto, JEFF nunca se manifiesta así…

That was when I told him everything he didn't want to hear, orrather "read". I am sure of it. I'm not reproducing it because I don't see it as necessary, although I will say that I promised him that if I found out about his scam again, I would give an account of what happened to notify the FANS. And today, that I have found out that she is now posing as his manager, I am notifying sailors in case my experience can be of any use to you.
A few minutes after that, the few photos of JEFF LYNNE that illustrated the misleading PROFILE of him created for this purpose of the aforementioned scammer, as well as the followers and other data, disappeared. Barely two hours passed when there was no trace of that profile…
Beware of who is currently posing as your manager and how to proceed from him, since his intention is not reliable or trustworthy. I have a screenshot of the latest scam of him that is currently in the news, but out of respect for those involved I am going to omit it.
Sincerely. I can't imagine JEFF himself being so in need of money as to go begging among his fans for the sale of "VIP Passes" for some hypothetical concerts that will never be held...
